On September 12th, the horse showed a sluggish start in a dirt trial over 1600m at Conghua, settling towards the rear throughout. On August 27th, he had an ordinary jump and trailed behind in a 1200m dirt trial. This is his seasonal debut after two barrier trials where he hasn't fully extended himself. Making his stable debut, stepping up to 1800m at Happy Valley this time with a minimal weight increase of two pounds. The sectionals from his group were unremarkable and drawing a poor barrier presents a disadvantageous position. Even if forced to settle towards the rear, he is expected to show a decent finishing kick. Jockey has some understanding of the horse's ability and trainer appears confident in him, offering potential for improvement.
