On August 29th, (dirt trial 1200m: 10-10-7), the horse jumped out and was urged forward from the turn. This is his seasonal debut after a barrier trial showing no noticeable performance. He then trialled on Sha Tin turf over 1400m and will carry a 3lb weight reduction this time. His finishing kick was weak in the previous trial, facing unfavorable conditions with a trainer/jockey combination that didn't seem to click despite comparable sectionals within the group. Expected to contend for an early lead, a jockey change to Lyle Hewitsin has been made, who is familiar with the horse’s temperament. He will have some pre-race work and isn’t considered a strong contender this race.
