Three weeks ago, this horse ran well over a Happy Valley 1200m, with a slow jump but finishing strongly from the rear. He finished third, beaten by one and a half lengths. Having trialled on Sha Tin turf over 1400m again, he benefits from a one-pound weight reduction this time. While his trial times were comparable to others in the group, requiring a hold-up tactic, drawing an outside barrier is not ideal and may necessitate settling towards the rear early.
