On September 11th (dirt trial 1200m, in running position of each section: 5-5-6), the horse settled comfortably in mid-division. On August 29th (Conghua turf trial 1000m: 5-5-5) he was positioned in mid-field and ran relaxed. This is his seasonal debut, having undergone two barrier trials without showing significant improvement. Returning to Sha Tin over 1200m this time, he will carry an additional fourteen pounds. He has previous form over this distance and the section times of competitors are reasonable. Expect a hold-up tactics with a strong finishing kick being his main asset. Luke Ferraris takes the ride; the jockey is known for controlling the pace of horses. Despite a potentially unfavorable situation, connections believe he’s worth considering despite trainer/jockey relationship not being ideal.
