SMART TRIO

On September 26th, (dirt trial 1200m: 1-3-7) the horse faded throughout the sections and finished at the rear of the field. Four weeks ago in a Sha Tin turf 1200m race, it performed reasonably well, with a slow start but strong finishing momentum when settling behind. A recent barrier trial didn't show sufficient improvement. Another turf trial over 1400m this time sees the horse two pounds lighter, but section times weren’t impressive and an outside draw is unfavorable; unlikely to feature in this race.
