Three weeks ago, this horse ran a respectable race over a Happy Valley mile, jumping slowly and settling towards the rear. He showed a strong late run but was beaten two and a half lengths for sixth place. A subsequent trial over 1200m at Happy Valley with a 2lb weight reduction saw him positioned towards the back again, though his finishing kick wasn't as strong as rivals. While the current form isn’t ideal, he has proven performance at this distance and drawing a favourable barrier makes him one to consider.
