On September 29th, a turf trial over 1200m at Conghua saw a slightly slow start but a consistent chase towards the front with promising momentum. On September 18th, in a dirt trial of 1050m at Conghua, he moved forward comfortably during the final section. This is his seasonal debut after two barrier trials which did not reveal full effort. Another Happy Valley turf trial over 1200m was completed; this time with a four-pound weight reduction. Despite having recorded four wins from twenty-six starts over this distance, and drawing a favorable barrier, the plan is to settle back in the field and rely on a strong finishing kick – which appears to be his strength relative to the competition. The jockey understands the horse's capabilities, and trainer and jockey have a good rapport, though time differences with other horses in the group are marginal, hoping for a positive performance.
