Four weeks ago, over the same distance, the performance was satisfactory, tracking the leaders and pressing forward in the middle stages but failing to sustain a strong finish. He finished eighth, beaten three lengths. This time with a 12lb weight reduction and similar section times as his rivals, he has the potential to track the leading pace-setters. He can be positioned forward and the trainer/jockey combination is solid. Late work suggests good condition despite drawing an outside barrier; a clean break should allow him to secure a good position.
