Two weeks ago, this horse ran a respectable race over the Sha Tin 1200m. The start was slow and settled towards the rear, but showed a strong late run, finishing within two lengths of the winner in sixth place. Another trial on dirt over 1200m, this time with a 2lb weight reduction. Although the sectionals were comparable to its group, drawing an inside barrier requires a hold-up tactic. Finishing kick was promising but opportunities were limited.
