Four weeks ago, over Sha Tin’s 1400m, the performance was acceptable despite a slow jump and settling towards the rear. The horse made progress in the middle stages but couldn't sustain it to the finish. Returning from that run in its first dirt trial over 1200m, this time carrying a three-pound weight reduction, having previously secured two wins at this distance, with comparable times within its group. Drawing an inside barrier and benefiting from a good trainer/jockey rapport. Although expected to settle towards the rear again, the finishing kick is unlikely to match rivals and the current form isn't particularly advantageous, but a showing wouldn’t be surprising.
