WITH A SMILE

On October 21st (dirt trial 1200m: 4-4-5), the horse moved up well from an inside barrier, appearing relaxed and comfortable. On October 9th (dirt trial 1200m: 9-7-1), he shifted out on the bend and made a strong forward move over the final two sections. September 27th (Happy Valley turf trial 1000m: 6-7-7) saw him tracking horses in a straight line, focused on testing his barrier speed. Returning after a spell, this is his first run of the season. Having completed three barrier trials, he shows improvement. Switching to Happy Valley over 1200m now for his debut at this distance, carrying no additional weight this time, the trip should suit him well. He's expected to settle in a good position tracking the leaders and drawing a favorable barrier gives him an advantage. Based on relative ability, he is the strongest contender in this race and looks capable of winning.
