Two weeks ago, over the same distance, this horse performed poorly, with a slow jump and settling towards the rear. He made a mid-race effort but faded in the final stages. This time carrying four pounds less weight and facing unfavorable competition, the plan is to settle back again; however, his finishing kick isn’t strong enough against these rivals. Despite having won three times over this course previously and drawing a reasonable barrier, he appears unlikely to significantly improve.
