On November 27th, a dirt trial over 1200m at Conghua saw the horse jump slightly slowly, returning with a steady pace and an unremarkable performance. Five weeks ago in the same distance race, it wasn't a standout run, tracking the leaders mid-race before making a move but failing to hold on for the finish, beaten by one and a half lengths in fifth place. A recent barrier trial showed a moderate display. This time needing to carry one pound more, the situation is unfavorable; despite previous three wins over this course, facing strong opposition and with a decent draw, its relative ability makes it the strongest contender in the race, and doesn’t appear to be lacking preparation.
