Two weeks ago, this horse ran a respectable race over a Happy Valley 1200m, with a slow jump and settling towards the rear. He showed a strong late run to finish fourth, beaten two and a half lengths. Switching to Sha Tin over 1200m this time, it’s his first attempt at this distance. He will carry one pound more in weight and faces an unfavorable distance combined with an outside barrier draw which suggests a likely rearward position. Despite showing consistent form in morning trackwork, expectations are moderate.
