BIGTIME GENERATION

On 5/2, during a dirt trial over 1200m (sections 9-8-2), the horse showed some potential while conserving energy. Three weeks ago, in a Sha Tin turf mile race, performance was very disappointing; settled well tracking the pace and made an effort mid-race but faded significantly, resulting in a heavy defeat. A subsequent barrier trial displayed slight improvement. Another turf trial over 1200m is planned with no weight reduction this time, facing weaker section times and drawing an unfavorable outside barrier. Despite potential to secure a good position early, a strong finishing kick appears unlikely and the overall prospects are poor.
