Five weeks ago, this horse recorded a dirt trial over 1200m in times of 1-1-2, showing initiative and finishing strongly. Four weeks ago, the horse ran poorly over a Happy Valley mile, settling in a good position tracking the leaders at a steady pace but lacking a strong finish. A subsequent barrier trial showed slight improvement. Another turf trial over 1200m was completed recently with a one-pound weight reduction; however, the overall times were unremarkable and the finishing kick was weak. The horse's current form is not ideal, even if capable of taking an early lead, it doesn’t appear to have a clear plan for success.
