Four weeks ago, over Sha Tin 1200m, the horse performed below expectations, jumping slowly and settling towards the back. The pace was steady, with a late recovery but limited ground made up. Returning to Happy Valley 1200m, this time carrying a two-pound weight reduction. Showing previous form over this distance with acceptable time figures, and drawing a favorable barrier. If adopting a hold-up strategy, the final kick is expected to be among the strongest in the field. Trackwork has been positive, despite a less-than-ideal jockey-trainer combination, the horse is still considered to have potential.
