(Dirt trial 1200m on 9/4: Start position 9-9-8), looked unpromising from the start. Four weeks ago, he ran a decent race over distance on Happy Valley turf, tracking the leaders and finishing within three and a half lengths. A subsequent trial showed no improvement. Moving to dirt over 1800m, his first attempt at this trip, the distance proved unsuitable. He was disadvantaged by a time gap in the same group, his placement was not ideal, and his final burst of speed was slightly lacking. The jockey and trainer's coordination was not ideal, making him unsuitable for this race.
