In his subsequent trial over a mile on Happy Valley turf, his time was not outstanding, and the circumstances were slightly unfavorable; his closing speed in the final stages was somewhat inferior. The partnership between the jockey and trainer has not been particularly prominent, with the horse having recorded three wins in his twenty-four starts to date and needing further work before being considered for strong hopes.
