Ran a 1000m turf trial on April 14th with running positions of 9-7-5, showing erratic behavior upon jumping out before settling behind the leader. Five weeks ago, he ran poorly over a mile on dirt, tracking near the front but fading in the final stages to finish heavily defeated. A recent trial showed no improvement. Having run four consecutive races on Sha Tin turf over 1200m, his timing has not been outstanding and the conditions are somewhat unfavorable. His closing speed appears slightly inferior, and the synergy between jockey and trainer is not pronounced; however, his advantage in barrier draw and consistently satisfactory morning work must be noted.
