Three weeks ago, the horse performed very poorly over a Happy Valley mile, running far out and fading in the closing stages. In his last run over 1400m on Sha Tin turf, he was at a slight disadvantage due to poor draw. While the jockey-trainer partnership did not stand out, his ability to stay back and maintain a strong finishing kick among his peers is notable, coupled with adequate timing; he may not be without chances.
