Fourteen days ago, the horse performed poorly in a straight-line race, getting out of the starting gate slowly and tracking at the back with an even pace, only recovering some ground in the final stages. In its previous run over 1200m on Sha Tin turf, this was its first attempt at the distance and it faced a disadvantageous position. It had to track from behind, lacking the finishing kick of its rivals. The partnership between jockey and trainer has not yet shown exceptional synergy, but the favorable track condition and advantageous draw mean it should not be overlooked.
