Last time winner, who performed excellently in the same race three weeks ago. After a slow start from the gate, he settled mid-pack before accelerating in the middle stages and chasing strongly over the final two sections for the win. In this race, he carries nine pounds extra, and his position is slightly disadvantageous with a poor draw. His late kick was somewhat less impressive; however, given his past performance and satisfactory time trial run, he is not without a chance.
