HAPPY BRETHREN

Four weeks ago, this horse ran poorly over a Happy Valley 1200m; he tracked the leaders steadily throughout, maintaining an even pace with a mediocre run. Fortunately, he was not far behind and finished beaten by two and a half lengths, indicating good ability. Moving to Sha Tin over 1400m for the first time at this distance, his time was acceptable; he maintained a good position tracking the leaders and rated highly overall. His form is continuing to improve, but this time he needs to carry three pounds more, his draw was not ideal, his finishing kick is slightly lacking, and the jockey-trainer partnership hasn't shown exceptional synergy; he remains a contender.
