Four weeks ago, this horse performed poorly in a straight-up race, starting slowly and finishing by tracking the pace with an even speed throughout; his run was lackluster. In a subsequent trial over 1200m on Sha Tin turf, this was his first attempt at the distance. The race setup did not favor him, and his positioning was not ideal; there was no standout partnership between the jockey and trainer. However, while tracking in the back of the field, his finishing kick was the strongest in his group and at this distance, he must be kept in mind.
