Ran in a 1200m dirt trial on April 24th (dirt trial 1200m: leading, easy straight) and another on April 14th (dirt trial 1200m: taking the lead and riding wide, overtaken at the finish line), plus a 1200m dirt trial on March 29th (dirt trial 1200m: not slow early, stopped at the finish). This horse is a last ran winner. In its last race in April, it performed excellently and won by holding on until the end. Having run three trials with slight improvement. It is stepping up in class, but its draw has not been ideal, and the finishing kick hasn't stood out. The jockey and trainer do not seem to be exceptionally in sync, but its ability to take the lead and its previous two wins mean it cannot be ignored.
