Four weeks ago, he performed creditably over 1400m on Sha Tin turf, settling well and tracking the leaders, finishing only two and a half lengths behind. He has shown slight improvement in recent trials. Switching to Happy Valley turf for a mile, this is his debut over this distance; he carries two pounds less in this race. The circumstances are relatively favorable, with an ideal draw. His early speed is sufficient to contest the lead actively. The jockey and trainer's partnership remains smooth, and he has worked well in the finishing phases; however, the distance may not suit him entirely and his recent time figures are weaker, making him a potential outsider.
