PRECISION HOPE

On 27/04, the horse went through a dirt trial at Conghua over 1200m (running positions: 5-5-1), tracking on the outside and finishing strongly with powerful late speed. Five weeks ago in a similar race, performance was very disappointing; the horse was slow to exit the barrier, settled towards the rear, maintained a steady pace throughout, and only managed to regain some ground at the finish. Having tried a trial session recently, there has been slight improvement. This time, with two pounds less in weight and reasonable sectional times within the group, coupled with a favorable barrier draw, the horse tracked near the rear. Its late speed was the most vigorous in the group, and the jockey/horse combination is decent. The horse continues to improve its form; even if the circumstances are slightly unfavorable or the jockey/trainer partnership is not outstanding, it should still be considered as a place contender in this race.
