Three weeks ago, the horse ran respectably over 1600m on Sha Tin turf. He was slow out of the stalls, settled towards the rear, and tracked along steadily, gradually closing in at the finish. Fortunately, he was not far behind, finishing beaten three and a half lengths. In his most recent run over a Happy Valley mile, he carries two pounds less this time and has satisfactory sectional times in the same group. The draw is favorable, requiring him to track from the back. His finishing kick in this division is arguably the strongest. The jockey has a good understanding of the horse's temperament; despite four consecutive losses, a slightly unfavorable position in this race, and no outstanding partnership between jockey and trainer, he still has chances for a placing.
