He was slow to break but tracked the pace, maintaining a steady run throughout and slowly closing in at the finish. Fortunately, he wasn't far behind, finishing only two lengths adrift. In his most recent run over 1200m on Happy Valley turf, this was his debut over the distance. In this current race, he carries two pounds less, and his time indicator was acceptable. His recent form is not poor; although the situation is disadvantageous, and a trailing tactic might limit his late kick compared to rivals, with jockey-trainer coordination not yet ideal, it may still be worth watching.
