BETTER AND BETTER

Three weeks ago in the same race, this horse performed exceptionally well. After a slow start from the gates, he settled mid-pack and accelerated in the middle section before chasing strongly for two sections on the straight, finishing as runner-up. Carrying an extra two pounds this time puts him in a slightly less favorable position, and his closing speed was somewhat diminished. He has shown ability in this trip with decent timing; he must be watched.
