Four weeks ago, the horse performed reasonably well in a 1200m dirt trial, tracking close to the leaders from a good position but showing weakening pace in the finishing stages. Returning to Sha Tin over 1400m, his time was acceptable and he drew an advantageous barrier. Based on the rating, he is considered one of the strongest contenders in this race; however, he faces an extra four pounds today, has failed in his last three starts, the conditions are slightly unfavorable, his finishing kick is somewhat lacking, and the jockey-trainer combination is not ideal. He remains a horse to watch.
