Fourteen days ago, this horse ran very disappointingly over 1200m on Sha Tin turf; he was slow to get out of the gates, stayed towards the rear, and his finishing speed weakened in the final stages, resulting in a heavy defeat. He then tried 1400m on Sha Tin turf for the first time in this trip, carrying a five-pound allowance this time. His time was acceptable, his barrier draw was favorable, and he again settled towards the rear; his finishing kick is among the strongest in his division. His recent form has been decent, so even if conditions are not ideal or the jockey and trainer aren't perfectly in sync, he cannot be dismissed.
