Five weeks ago, in a similar race, he performed reasonably well, running from the rear with an even pace throughout; he gradually regained ground in the final stages. Fortunately, he wasn't too far behind and finished beaten only by two and a half lengths. Having taken a trial run, he still needs more experience. This race features four pounds less in weight for him; this course suits him, and his time performances are competitive. He needs to track from the rear, possessing arguably the strongest finishing kick in this field. Overall assessment places him near the top of the field, and the jockey/horse combination is satisfactory, with good trainer/rider cooperation and active training; he is considered a potential contender for the win.
