Fourteen days ago, this horse performed excellently in Sha Tin over 1600m. He was slow out of the gate and tracked from behind, maintaining an average pace throughout, gradually recovering ground in the final stages to chase strongly. Fortunately, the margin was not large, and he finished only two lengths behind. Moving to dirt over 1800m for his debut run at this distance, he carries a six-pound allowance in this race. His current group timing is satisfactory; when tracking from behind in the run, his finishing kick was the most vigorous in the field. Connections seem to be working well together and he remains a contender despite potentially unfavorable odds/positioning.
