On May 29th, he ran a 1200m turf barrier trial at Conghua (7-8-6), making a move to track before easing up when things looked good. Six weeks ago, he had a disappointing run over 1800m on Happy Valley turf, tiring towards the end of the race. After a trial run, he felt he still needed more experience. Moving to dirt over 1800m for the first time, his placement wasn't ideal, and his late closing speed was slightly inferior. The jockey and trainer coordination was not optimal, but given he can track the pace and with more races to come, there's still hope.
