On 19/5, he ran a dirt 1200m barrier trial (4-4-5), holding tight on the straight and finishing tracking back. In a 7/5 dirt 1200m barrier trial (4-2-2), he battled for position from the two-hundred mark but was not in a favorable wind. On 27/4, he ran an 800m turf barrier trial at Conghua (6-6-6) with minimal urging, showing little progression. This is his debut as a new horse and he started training in mid-March after arriving in Hong Kong. He has completed three trial barrier runs and his performance has been satisfactory; though his stride was slightly high and footfalls somewhat slow, he showed willingness to chase and has some acceleration. The horse possesses stamina, suggesting he is not a sprinter. Given this is his first outing and the distance should be decent, one race must be watched closely; if he shows promise, he will be considered for future races.
