Three weeks ago, the horse ran poorly in a straight-line race, tracking near the front with an even pace throughout but showing no real excitement. In a subsequent attempt over 1200m on the Sha Tin turf, this was its first run at this distance; the trip didn't suit it, and its finishing kick was slightly lacking. Lacking a special rapport between the jockey and trainer, the horse managed to actively contest positions with its early speed and had a somewhat favorable setup, making it worth considering as an outsider.
