On 26/5, in a dirt trial over 1200m (running position: 2-3-4), the horse pressed hard in a straight line but did not accelerate. On 8/5, in a Happy Valley turf trial over 1200m (running position: 5-6-7), the horse showed no drive after being asked for an effort at 200m. On 14/4, in a turf trial over a mile (running position: 6-9-9), the running style was stiff and requires more refinement. On 24/3, in a turf trial over a mile (running position: 9-11-10), the horse showed no drive after being asked for an effort at 200m. On 24/2, in a turf trial over 800m (running position: 9-9-9), the horse was crowded at the start and moved to the outside rail from 600m without showing any real advantage. This is its first outing as a newcomer; it began training in mid-November last year after arriving in Hong Kong. It has completed five trials but hasn't shown good form yet. Its stride is high, and its acceleration is not strong; it has not learned how to exert itself. Being in its debut race and carrying extra weight, it should be observed before committing heavily.
