Four weeks ago, the horse performed excellently in this race, maintaining a good position near the front with an even pace throughout. He managed to regain some lost ground in the finishing stages, finishing second, beaten only a half-length. His time was acceptable and he drew an ideal spot to track the leaders. Based on a comprehensive evaluation, he placed highly in that race. The jockey's riding style suited the horse well, and the training/riding combination was satisfactory. However, he needs to carry an extra two pounds this time, and having lost the last five races in this distance, his finishing kick is slightly lacking; he remains a key contender.
