(Dirt trial 1200m: 3-3-4) Trailed near the front and ran strongly in the final stages. Four weeks ago, he performed respectably over 1400m on Sha Tin turf, albeit with a slow start and tracking from the rear; his pace was consistent throughout, gradually closing in towards the end. A recent trial showed nothing particularly standout. In a subsequent 1600m Sha Tin turf trial, his debut over the distance showed less than ideal form with a weak time indicator and slight positional disadvantage. However, his finishing kick is second to none in the group and he has an advantageous draw, making him a potential outsider worth watching.
