Four weeks ago, in the same race, the performance was decent; he settled nicely near the front but weakened in the final stages. The time figures were lackluster, and the circumstances weren't favorable, compounded by a poor draw; his late drive was slightly inferior. The jockey and trainer didn't seem particularly in sync, but given that he has won twice previously and training has been active, an underperformance is not surprising.
