Finished well in the final section during a dirt trial over 1200m on 9/6, pace was not poor. Five weeks ago in a short Happy Valley race, the horse showed mediocre form, running in the rear with an even pace; the run was unremarkable. A subsequent trial showed decent performance. In a more recent Happy Valley 1200m trial, the conditions were not ideal, and the finishing burst was not outstanding. The jockey and trainer relationship does not seem particularly aligned; success in this race will depend on a good record and favorable draw, but it is not impossible.
