(Trial over 1000m at Conghua on June 12th: running positions 7-5-2) consistently showed signs of improving and pressing forward. This last ran winner performed excellently in the same race five weeks ago, though he was slow to jump out and settled towards the rear, steadily progressing along the way before gradually closing in to win. A recent trial showed slight improvement. In this race, the horse needs to carry an extra ten pounds; the current conditions do not seem favorable for his running style, and the draw is poor. He will likely need to settle towards the rear, and his finishing kick may not match the competition. However, given his prior form and acceptable time performance, he must be kept in consideration.
