Five weeks ago in the same race, the horse performed reasonably well, saving ground and showing a decent late run. Fortunately, he wasn't too far off, finishing three lengths behind. He is running in a handicapper this time with proven form and an acceptable time metric. When tracking the pace, his finishing kick was the sharpest in the field, and his overall rating placed him near the top of the race. The jockey has a slight understanding of the horse's temperament, but this time he faces an extra sixteen pounds in weight, the track conditions are not ideal, his draw is poor, and the jockey-trainer combination isn't particularly harmonious; nevertheless, he retains winning potential.
