In the same race four weeks ago, this horse performed reasonably well; it was slow to jump out and ran toward the rear before accelerating in the middle stages, then chased strongly in the final two furlongs. Fortunately, it did not have to carry much extra weight and finished only two and a half lengths behind, indicating a high level of ability. Having lost all five previous races, the current prospects are slightly unfavorable due to barrier draw and a lack of standout connection between jockey and trainer, but its superior finishing kick within the field and decent sectional times suggest it is not without a chance.
