Four weeks ago, this horse performed reasonably well in a straight-line race, though it was slow to get out of the gate and settled towards the rear. He subsequently tried Sha Tin over 1200m, his first attempt at this trip. For this race, he needs to carry an extra pound, and the current form does not suggest a favorable setup. If he continues to race from the rear, his closing speed may not match his rivals'. The jockey and trainer combination is not ideal. However, the trip suits him well, and his time figures remain acceptable, making a place possible.
