On 22/6, the horse ran a commendable 800m turf trial at Conghua (5-3-1), pressing against the rail with a good reaction. Previously, on 8/6 in a 1200m turf trial at Conghua (1-1-1), the horse rode on the pace to the finish. In a 1000m turf trial at Conghua on 29/5 (10-10-6), the jockey pushed him to gradually catch up, performing satisfactorily. Six months ago, he put on a standout performance over 1200m on Happy Valley turf, showing good speed to finish fourth, only beaten by two lengths. He has since improved slightly in three barrier trials. In a recent 1200m Sha Tin turf run, carrying two pounds less this time, the horse has proven capable; his time was respectable, and the conditions suit him well, giving him potential to race at a strong pace. The jockey and trainer seem in good sync, and his morning work shows continued improvement; however, his finishing kick is slightly lacking and should not be overlooked.
