On 13/6, the horse ran in a dirt trial over 1050m (positions: 5-4-5) for two hundred thousand, showing no acceleration. In the subsequent trial on 26/5 over a thousand meters on turf (positions: 1-1-3), the pace was fast, and he finished third with increased vigor. He ran in a similar race last April and performed reasonably well, holding up towards the end. After two recent barrier trials, there has been slight improvement. However, his racing prospects are somewhat disadvantaged, and his draw hasn't been ideal. Running in a stalking position, his finishing kick might not match that of the opposition. The jockey and trainer do not appear particularly in sync, though his recent timing has been acceptable and training active, he remains a low-chance contender.
