Coming out at the start of the season, he showed excellent form in a race two months ago, settling up front and tracking the leaders with an average pace throughout; he made significant ground in the final stages, finishing second and only half a length behind. A recent trial showed satisfactory performance. This race requires an extra pound of weight, and the circumstances are not considered favorable due to poor draw. However, his finishing kick remains a noticeable advantage, and given his previous form, this performance is not surprising.
